More information:

Iraq's Social Forum (ISF) is an alliance of Iraqi civil society organizations and unions that work to rebuild a stable, peaceful, democratic and fair society in Iraq. We believe that civil society and grassroots work are elementary in this work, but it is something that we rarely hear about in Norway. The organizations in the ISF work with, among other things, an Iraqi Working Environment Act, environmental protection, women's liberation and non-violence campaigns. They have arranged several conferences with different themes and over 5,000 participants, similar to the Globalization Conference in Oslo. ISF is coming to Oslo from 17th to 24th of February.

The event series is organized by the Norwegian Social Forum, an alliance of 70 Norwegian organizations working for a fairer and democratic world where people, society and the environment are in front of economic gain.We arrange, among other things, the Globalization Conference - Norway's largest political workshop - which will take place on 12-14 October 2018 at DOGA Arena and the Cultural Church of Jakob in Oslo.
