On the occasion of the World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel (15 – 21 September) Sama Anfous from Karibu partner Kairos Palestine will be in Norway for a series of speaking events.

Sama comes from the city of Ramallah and has a background in journalism. She’s 31 years old and is enthusiastic about social change based on human rights and breaking stereotypes about her country.

Kairos Palestine will celebrate its 10th anniversary in December and Sama will also bring updates on the efforts of Kairos today.

The World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel (WWPPI) is a global annual week of solidarity and advocacy, aimed at promoting a just peace in the region and setting focus on ending the military occupation of Palestine.
